I hear conflicting stories about leaving fuel with stabilizer in carbs? should I drain the carbs or leave fuel in them with stabilizer ? storage will be around 5 months. the tank is full the pet cock is off.

Drain the carbs.
Even in the coldest winter gas seems to evaporate slowly and leave gummy crud behind.

Drain them for sure or get ready to clean them come Spring. Also, you may want to pull the fuel line off the carbs and plug the end of it. This will ensure no fuel seeps through the petcock and fouls the carbs. Ed
