with no title, will a 79" 750 engine bolt to my frame witch is a 81" 1100?

A 79 KZ 750 would be a twin cylinder so unlikely to fit in a 4 cylinder frame'.

".... a friend calls me wanting to sell a 79 kz 750 *might be a 900 or 1000*" The friend can't tell the difference between a KZ750 twin and a KZ900/1000? Are you sure he owns the bike he is trying to sell? I would be very cautious. Ed

well, I was hoping the 79 kz WAS a inline 4, that was changed in 1980 to the inline 4 750, off by a year
wtf wasn't really the best thing I was going for a reply..
still interested tho in a parrell twin would fit , off by a year but did there frames change much?
the 79 1000 in a inline 4, did they share a frame?

I'm sure a 750 twin can be mounted in a kz1100 frame, but it will require a great deal of fabrication. Converting to chain drive will require a new swingarm and wheel assembly at the very least.
