deep oil pan

Greetings everyone,,A while back there was a conversation about a deep oil pan,,i have a chance to buy one,,i know for sure that its to thick to fit under the stock 4 into 2 ltd1000 exhaust,,i checked,,but,,im wondering if it will clear with the kerker 4into1 header,,anyone know for sure?? Dumb question: why would anybody want an oil pan that doesn't fit the stock exhaust?

EDIT TO ADD: designed for turbo applications to hold more oil and accommodate a more powerful pump?
