Hey
I have a line on a Yosh header however im confused (more than usual). The seller says it will fit a Kz750 Kz900 Kz1000 as well as a GS1000. Any thoughts? Im putting it on a 831000J. I know for a fact kerkers will interchange between KZ900's and 1000J's

I'd be skeptical...remember that old-school Suzuki inline fours have a forward tilt to the cylinders while Kawasaki cylinders are almost vertical. So, while the cylinder spacing may be very similar, You'll end up with some very odd angles to the collector/muffler on a KZ if it was originally designed for use on a GS. I'd see if the header was originally designed for a KZ or a GS.

The bottom photo looks suspiciously like a Bassani...

The small KZ's (650/750) have a different spacing, between the cylinders, than the big boyz (900+). So if it fits the 750, I doubt if it will fit your 1000. (correct me if I'm wrong on this)
Might ask for a measurement, center to center at the head, by the seller... then measure yours. Should tell you what you need to know...

Nope, I can see why you'd say that though, it's just the angle of the picture. If it were on the bike, you'd see the muffler/megaphone section is not as large as a Bassani.
I can assure you, it's all Yosh.

Thanks guys for chiming in . I am suspicious for sure. Fortunately I have a Kawy friend who lives close to the guy selling the header and he is going to try it on his project 1000j bike for me to verify either way. The seller is very open and accommodateing which helps out a lot

When I bought my Z1-R it had a Kerker on it and when I took it for a tune up they told me it was a 750 exhaust that was forced to fit.
