I'm stumped

Well have 1980kz750 four rebuilt top end carbs super clean running good no backfire sputter nothing but for some reason seems like it's getting no power when I'm in 5th feels like it won't go over 50 cause revving real high don't have a tach so can't tell I put new coil packs on it the timing is perfect and clearances all on spec also had them machined their all seated great does anyone know what may cause this or of had same problems

Clutch badly out of adjustment?

Oh and one thing backing out the screw makes it engaged later or sooner on the handle
