Annealing circlips 13mm 08mm
21 Sep 2014 17:40
Anyone tried annealing used circlips?
Need some 0.8mm x 13mm for a GPz550 Yoshimura kit, unavailable NOS so my only other option is teflon buttons. Any ideas?

Annealing will soften the metal. Worst thing you could do.

The 13mm circlip is unusual but there is a few non kawasaki models using that - the 0.8mm wire thickness is the difficult bit. Teflon buttons it is then.
