Tell me what this is

I took the chain cover because I had a small oil leak can someone tell me what the hole to the right of the front sprocket is I have oil dumping out of it now like I accidentally unplugged it or somethjng

I guess you mean to the left of the sprocket? That's where the clutch push rod goes.
Unrelated, it seems that the sprocket washer is kinda messed up.
Also, I would clean up the neutral light switch connector & crimp the wire terminal a tad to get a good tight fit.

Its about a foot long depending on what motor you have,if it just falls out its pretty easy to notice. :laugh:

Yea I found it on the ground in the garage, bike is in a different city than I live in so the lapse of about a month I forgot what happened, all better now thanks

There should also be a loose ball bearing that fits between the push rod and the clutch release plate....make sure that hasn't gone for a stroll around your garage too if it's a KZ 900/1000....by the way what bike do you have?

The ball bearing can't fall out, on the sprocket side, on a 550, and I think the same is true for the 750.
It can fall out on the clutch side.
