Kz1000 not starting

HI all,

Running out of ideas. New spark plug, put in new some new points, new battery and there is no spark going to the points. Carbs are strong and getting good gas.

Could it be the timing or did I fuck up on the points?

Sorry your bike won't start......what year is it ? (get your bike type/year into your signature) There is very little anyone can do to help without a lot more info like....... Did you just get the bike? Had it for years? Did it run before? What was the most recent thing you did to it? How do you know carbs run strong if it's not running? What did you do/how did you install new points? How do you know points are not getting any power? I will assume you installed more than one spark plug. Do you have any sort of Service Manual (the optimum one being the Kawasaki Factory Manual)? Get as much solid info onto here so people can follow a trail and help you. Good luck
