Point the long end of the lever to the down (on/run) position. Reserve is generally up and prime to the side. I find it best to always be in the on/run position, especially when wrenching.

On my 550 the fuel will only flow freely i the pri position. On and res both require vacuum

Wobble is most likely a bad tire. Been there / done that - even when my tires had low mileage and looked great. Ed
