I am currently riding a 78 KZ650 and am looking to build a cafe bike. I dont want to kill the 650 so I was wondering if anyone had ever tried to ton up on a 440? I have mechanical skills so I can do mods if they are necessary to run 100. I just dont want to build a cafe 650 cause its kinda big for a cafe build.

Not trying to plug another site, but you may want to look at www.kz400.com/index.html Folks there have done lots of stuff to KZ440 and KZ440 bikes. Here are a couple examples. Ed

Im really looking to do something like the first one or the blue one. Ive always liked the less is more aesthetic and the street tracker and cafe racer looks epitomize that for me. If anyone is looking to move a 400 or 440 I will definitely take it off there hands.
