cam degree question
04 Aug 2014 06:34
Hey guys. I switched to a regular kz style head from a j model head. My cams need redegreed. But iam running a thick base gasket and my tdc tool wont reach the top of the piston with the washer on the tool. With the spacer removed it hits the valves. I do have the tdc side walls ground down. But not the tip. My question is. I should be able to grind down the spacer for the tdc tool so it will reach the piston correct? As long as i dont adjust it after i take my first measurement? Thanks.
