I have a KZ 1100 that a friend brought over. it seems to have know or very little compression in the left side cylinder but the right sight seems ok. I dont have a compression gauge so i used a finger of the plug hole while turning itr over. seems like the starter is dragging. I have downloaded a manual but could use some advice on how to proceed.
thatk you for any help.

Borrow or buy a compression testor from auto parts store to check the compression, then check valve clearances.
Be sure to hold throttle wide open when testing compression.
