Exhaust header fittment ?

I am looking at a Delkevic stainless 4 into 1 header/downpipes for my 93' KZ1000P project, but they only list the application for a 77'-80. Just currious if the 77-80 pipes will fit the "J" series motor? I just want the header since I will be custom fitting the rest. Anyone use an early KZ1000 header for a J motor?

That will work. The only thing would be the exhaust mount.

Some of the early Kz's had 6mm studs, the "J" engines have 8mm studs, so you might have to drill/ream out the smaller holes in the clamps, to fit.

Thanks, this really helps. I actually remembered a friend had an old beat up Kerker from his 77 LTD, so I stopped by and grabbed it. It fit perfectly, so I just ordered up the Delkevic.
