k guys have an 1980 kz 550 started life as an ltd been riding it for 4 years and now its starting to use oil not real bad but bad enough going to finish riding season out and repair. noticed that have an oil leak where cylinders meet engine case so have to pull jugs so while have it apart going to do rings and have valves checked/done.
so I guess question is what else should I be looking at. timing chain /guides so on any advise I can get would be great
ps it has almost 29000 miles on it
