1980 LTD 1000..,1976 LTD 900, have the 1000&900 now. the rest are previous= 1978 KZ 650 B.., 1980 Yamaha XT 500..,1978 Yamaha DT 400.., 1977 Yamaha yz 80..,Honda trail ct 70.., Honda QA 50...5-1/2 hp brigs & straton CAT chopper mini bike...3-1/2 hp mini bike (WHEN GAS WAS ABOUT 45 CENTS A GALLON)!!!!

Well it split no problem as i had to replace the cam chain anyways. But i found this as i was disasembling. I feel this engine is shot but what do you think.

Dadgummit Dobbins.....you are not catching any breaks here (no pun intended) if that split is on the end as it looks you may be right :sick:

Its on both sides. Explains why it seems as though someone had been in the engine but didnt replace anything. They just put it back together and sold it. Its on both sides fill cracks .75 inches down.

Sorry my smiley didn't post on this. I meant it as a joke. Then I actually considered it. Then my lady said that I will have to sleep outside this winter if I dont get this bike rebuilt.
