1979 KZ650B

Ok, I'm getting closer to having my new baby on the road! However, I'm going to have to call on you guys once again for some help. This time its electrical.

1. With the bike on & running my head light doesn't work, When i purchased it, i turned the key on to check everything, the headlights came on. When I tried the hi lo switch, hi was lo & lo was hi & the light was very dim. I have since replace the head light with a new one & it doesn't work at all. Battery is good.

2. Front turn signals stay on all the time, but do function when switched to either side. How do i keep them off until i signal?

Please help with any advise!
