Did leak down my discovery

So bought this bike 1980 kz 750h four cyclinder I lap the valves I guess not good enough getting air though few valves at 60 psi but that not the Strange part I hear air were the cam chain is...idk know if that normal and at tdc....what can be the cause and with the leak down should I hear any air.....also I took the jugs up and measured the rings in the cyclinder both for each piston the gap I mean they are with in spec they also look brand new to be honest....but little insight would be great been lot wrench hours

It could be leaking past the rings or it could be a head gasket not sealing causing it to come uo through cam chain galley.
