sounds more like you have thrown a Rod or someone shot your block  if it was overfilled you would be surely pumping oil out through the breather

If you are going to try to repair it. I would recommend Quicksteel. same section as JB Weld. Stuff is hard as steel in about 15 minutes. Its a 2 part putty that you tear a piece off and knead it together. I had to use it on my gas tank and now carry a tube with me in my bag.

hmm anything critical in this area?? seems to only be the casing and the interal grooves and fins exterally that got punctured, guys think i can still get away with a weld? Someone please shed some light at first i am just trying to be tough about it, but in all honesty its KILLIN ME!!!!!

Key Points:
CR Special 29 MM Carbs tuned fairly well if you ask me i checked plugs in all kinds of ranges, but the last few times i rode she sputtered at high rpms, now inn the process of the sputter it sputtered one last loud time and thus is the result. But can a pair of carburetors lets say WORST CASE SCENARIO that its running LEAN as a son of a gun... i would think a piston would blow first!! Not a crankcase like this.
She starts/runs on all 4 cylinders which rules out timing, pistons, rings in my book.
AS someone mentioned i know i will have to pull the pan and inspect. I think honestly a rock or two maybe left over from construction on the road maybe??? 1/10000000 chance it slipped past and sort of behind the exhaust?
At this point i believe it was maybe an internal explosion... i mean WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT the heck?!?!? Any drag racers out there ever seen anything like this? I guess its somewhat of a guessing game untill we pull the oil pan

I'm not sure what happened, but I am sure it had nothing to do with too much oil.

F.O.D. caught in cam chain and slung out? (Assuming the cam chain is between 2&3 like the 1000). Can you see the cam chain /crank gear for the chain through the hole? :-(

:) Sorry about the abbreviation. The way the metal lip appears in the photo it looks like it blew something outward- looks like some of our car motors when someone decides to play submarine/hydrolocks and punches a rod out through the block. The smaller diameter of the hole inside towards the motor.

Looks similar to minee, doesnt seem like jb weld will do it this time for my bike  lol i dont know why theres 2 holes in my case though still. well im gonna pull the pan and we'll see what wonderous things we will find... atleast it wasn't like this

Im thinking the bottom of the rod snapped off creating a Y shape and the Y shaped rod flew right into the crankcase wall and that rod is going to be sitting on top of the oil pan when i take it off. If i think about it now, theres no other explanation

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrolock just what he mentioned. This is it 100%. The bike wouldn't turn over sometimes I wondered when attempting to start. So basically the new racing carbs and me leaving the bike on prime caused gas to go into the engine or just too much oil or both caused this
