Hello all,
My girlfriend was changing the oil and filter on our 1982 KZ550 LTD and the female threads of the oil filter bolt got stripped. I'm not there to inspect it, as I am currently out of state, so I cannot tell if the bolt bolts back into the pan or if it goes back into the engine casing.
Does the big bolt (#20) Thread into the pan or the engine case?

I looked at a picture of a lower case on ebay and it looks like it does, but can anyone confirm this? Can I find a Heli coil or insert to fix this? Does any one know what size the bolt is or the specific part number for this bolt?
Any other suggestions as to fix this?
