Hello everyone, I have a 1980 kz750e that has an idling issue. It starts petty easy and does not sound too bad, once warmed up it will rev a litte higher. And when I adjust the idle screw it will go down and eventually just stall. It is the same while I am riding it, when I pull in the clucth the the rpm's just stay for a second until I fiddle with the clutch and throttle. It will then drop in to a good idle range but then slow and stall. If anybody has any ideas let me know, please!!!

Hanging idle is a common symptom of a leaky carb holder. The typical test for this is to get it idleing at a low rpm, spray some wd-40 on the carb holders. Listen for a change in idle or for it to stall, if either of those happen you found your leak.

Permanent and perpetual noob.
