Choke needed to start

My bike won't start without choke full on unless it have just been started and run. This isn't normal is it? It's 15-25c outside so it's not exactly cold. I'm new to KZ's but my other bikes didn't need choke so I was wondering if something need adjusting.

If it isn't normal, what do I check? Battery is good but I haven't checked anything else electrical except looking at it (looks almost new). It runs fine when hot.

On mine, if it is the first start of the day, I always put on full choke, no throttle, first kick, vroom! Usually back choke off slightly after bike is started...If the bike is running fine otherwise, I would not sweat it

It doesn't start that easy. Mine doesn't have a kickstarter though, so might not be kicking as hard.

I'm not sure it will start when it gets cooler but who knows.

Edit:

I think I have already asked about the electrical part now I think about it. Sorry about that, my memory isn't that good.

15C is 59F. I'll second what the Grump said and say don't sweat it. That choke's there for a reason, to help start the bike when the engine is cold.

If it's not starting easily you may have other issues going on. I'd suggest you start a new thread describing the starting issues.
