bought a stock 1983 exhaust, won't fit. pls help.

OK, to start I own a 1983 kz550 LTD Shaft. I had a kerker megaphone 4 into 1 on it that fit perfectly and came with the bike but the baffle rotted out. I wanted so!ething quiter so I found a set of nice stock pipes on eBay and bought them.

When they arrived I found out they went to the kz550 C model from 83.

Am I screwed or are there gaskets/spacers I can get that will help the headers fit more snuggly into the engine? I can get them in and screw them on, but they still wiggle a bit and I know that's bad. I'll take a few pictures tomorrow when the sun comes up, been out there for 3 hours trying to get them on.

Thanks in advance, I really need to get this on, its my only way to get to work and I can't run without an exhaust lol.

Also, it has been hell trying to figure out what model I have and I overlooked a number on my Vin. I believe I have The 1983 kz550 Spectre Shaft. I dunno I can't be sure, there so many different models and I have been sooo stressed out about this bike I just want to be able to go for a nice ride, that's all.

Figured out my issue. I was just getting really stressed about the bike and panicked. I'll have it all squared away when the sun comes up.
