Exhaust options?

Anybody know of some alternative exhaust makers (Euro maybe?).

I've got a stockpile of vintage roadrace parts for the 78 KZ!000A2 & I really like the look of some of the pipes I see that are a bit different than the usual Kerker/V&H.

The old Yoshi/Bassani pipes are almost impossible to find in good condition.....anybody know of other makers that cover our old KZs?

Last I heard, Jemco in Houston will make them on request, though the KZ system is no longer listed on their website.

I also bought one of the Motogpwerks pipe.
I love the way it looks and sounds, the only thing I mind is that you need to remove it to change the oil filter.
Do yourself a favor and change your oil before you put it on.
It sounds like a modern sport bike.

MTH....did you order a "Z version" or modify a Z1R pipe?

I'm not sure if the canister/rear hanger is in the same location on the two bikes....

Jemco make a good solid pipe. I've had them on my flattrackers for years. They are all steel construction but used to offer a "quieter" aluminum can as an option.

My racer with the aluminum can.

Nice! Those look like the old TT500 motors. I had both a TT500 and a 600...gobs of torque (especially w/ a little work).
