Would continue using the standard plugs, NGKB8ES.
The FSM also says ND W24ES-U (presumably equivalent).

My Z1a , and just about every other air cooled bike I have ever worked on (thousands) has run BETTER and been easier to tune with ND plugs
I don't know why , but other mechanics have said the same thing.
The W24es-U has a new part # now a days.
Check with ND online I guess.
