Spark plug of choice for MKII w/ Kerker?
20 Apr 2014 22:08
Is the standard spark plug OK to run with a header-equipped MKII? Stock airbox / no engine mods.
What is the plug of choice for forum members?

Would continue using the standard plugs, NGKB8ES.
The FSM also says ND W24ES-U (presumably equivalent).
Good Fortune!

One of my most prized possessions is my vintage Champion Spark Plug reading tool.
Reading a plug tells you everything. If you know what you are looking for.

+1 for my hero in the hat photo.
My Z1a , and just about every other air cooled bike I have ever worked on (thousands) has run BETTER and been easier to tune with ND plugs
I don't know why , but other mechanics have said the same thing.
The W24es-U has a new part # now a days.
Check with ND online I guess.
