TIME TO TRADE IN THE PEDALS FOR SOME POWER
Parts needed, advice wanted was created by jsnabbs
No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI just got off the phone with the guy who is recondtioning my motor, I need to find some parts as he cant get them from kawasaki germany.
I need
Cam
Cam chain
cam guides front/back
If im searching these parts as KZ440 when i order and they turn up, am i going to have the right part? or is there something i need to look out for
would like to find these parts in europe if i can so i dont have to wait so long for them and i dont have to pay import tax
one link i found for the guides and chain
is there aftermarket parts i should look at that will work and are new?
Also here is a pic of the gasket set i just ordered, am i missing anything, for a motor rebuild?
thanks in advance

I don't think there was a 440-C in the USA, but it probably shares the same needed parts as most of the 440s (if not all of them). There probably aren't any aftermarket parts, other than gaskets & maintenance stuff. For new you might find NOS parts on eebbaayy. Try using the diagrams at Kawasaki.com & Partzilla. The Kaw site cross-reference is more accurate & Partzilla lists prices for stuff that's still available.

Cam parts will only be found used unless you can find some nos ( new old stock ) that has been setting
around for years. Gaskets set is complete but you will need some o rings and a output shaft seal. Those
o rings are between the case halves and seal the oiling system.
