The wires were correct, but after a quick look at the carbs it started!...
...But still with the original problem. It only goes slooooowly back to idle when revved. The engine is fine with all new gaskets etc, also new intake boots and I have ultrasonically cleaned the carbs a few times. And by now I really don´t know what can be the problem..?

I have a Dyna S Ignition and new Dyna coils, but not installed. Can those help?

Vacuum leak or hanging timing advancer could cause that condition.

I have checked for leakage, but since the intake manifolds are new and I have had them checked aswell from where else can it leak?
I have also taken the timing advancer apart and it seems to be working fine from what I can tell..

What carburetors are they? Stock CV units or what?

A can of WD40 will find a vacuum leak in a nano second.

I´m running with RS34, with the mixture screw 1,5 turns out. I have tried to fint the leak before with starter fluid and have tried different positions on the mixture screw, but I can´t say that I have found anything..

Did you check valve clearance, if the valves dont have enough clearance it takes the valves longer to idle down, i have had that same problem, are u running stock airbox or filters. but i guess it is to tight valves.

For starters that IMO is way too much fuel on the pilot fuel screw. Close them up and start at 1/8 to 1/4 turn. A little bit is lot on those carbs.

Without looking at the bike it's all just a guessing game Peter. Do you have a push/pull on it? Might just be sticking cable causing it.
