Round air cleaner is for the 42mm Mikuni that he chose to put on it for rideability, the rest I just took pictures of. He does have all the correct original parts for it. Don't shoot the messenger, I just thought you guys would enjoy seeing it. There is rumored to be another one at the same dealer but it is not for sale. Its possible that the pegs got cut off when they were going to make it a drag bike. I remember 3 of these at the dealer in Miami Fl that they couldn't give away when they were new, $5000 and no warranty. Same deal with an Eddle Lawson replica at the Billings mt dealer that they couldn't sell and I didn't have the money to buy either one of them

Yes, it does have the deep sump pan, I forgot to mention it. This guy is going to ride this, its not a show bike. It also has a complete Dyna ignition on it too, welded crank. & ported big valve head. Thanks for posting those pictures for me ralph

Looks great. Same thing here in Denver about the TC and Eddie Lawson replica. The dealer 2 miles from my house had two of the TCs sat on the floor a long time and I wanted one badly, but wasn't realistically in my budget, then in 1982/83 they had the ELR with the $1.00 a CC rebate at about $3000 new and finally got rid of them. I never was interested in the ELR, but finally got the TC. After owning that motorcycle, my lusting for a turbo is shot for eternity. They took a 1978 Z1R and destroyed it with the paint and addition of the turbo. Live and learn. Those that want one, rethink and don't is my personal advice.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Thanks for sharing the pictures MTKAWBOY. That definitely is a rare TC. I understand people doing builds the way they want to. I just don't want people to think that they are looking at an original Time capsule TC and use it for reference, so I pointed out a few things that look out of place. People tend to see the NOS in a thread title, look at the pictures, and miss the fact that it is not original even though it was written somewhere in thread.

One last picture from Willis along with a little info on this TC.........
"I thought maybe the forum guys would enjoy this, it is not a restoration, it is a new never titled bike. The same owner also has a turbo V-max and a turbo CBX. He would not tell me what he paid for it but buying from a dealer you know it wasn't cheap. The guy that put it together has over 500 hours in it. The bike did have to be repainted due to scratches from sitting in the boxes. I've never seen a new one before and I doubt I ever will again"

The owner mentioned to me that the way he had the decals & emblems on the side cover wasn't correct but its the way he wanted it. It didn't make sense to me but no one asked me my opinion. He said that once you remove the Harley Bendix carb that the rideability is much better. id just like to ride one myself and see.

How was he able to compare rideability between the different carbs if the bike has zero miles? Did he test it with the odometer disconnected or is he basing that comparison on someone else's experience? Ed
