NOS never titled 78 Z1R Turbo

I had a chance to see something amazing yesterday. Back in 78 the local dealer decided to take a new 78 turbo Z1R and make a drag bike out of it. The bike was totally disasymbled, put in boxes, frame powder coated, crank welded, head ported etc. It then set there for the next 35 years when a friend bought it and put it all back together again, Its gorgous. 1980 LTD 1000..,1976 LTD 900, have the 1000&900 now. the rest are previous= 1978 KZ 650 B.., 1980 Yamaha XT 500..,1978 Yamaha DT 400.., 1977 Yamaha yz 80..,Honda trail ct 70.., Honda QA 50...5-1/2 hp brigs & straton CAT chopper mini bike...3-1/2 hp mini bike (WHEN GAS WAS ABOUT 45 CENTS A GALLON)!!!!

You do enough searching you'll find that there were at least 2 still in crates in Canada and I know of 1 personally that is still crated in Indy, sits in a basement/game room of a doctor that has 1 side of the crate opened up to display it. Just like the shelby mustangs. I know of one that has never been titled and or street driven. A 68 GT500 that has been drag raced from day one!!! Originally came out of a dealership in Chicago. Storman Norman Dodges, I used to know where there were 3 crated 440's straight out of his shop. This stuff is out there, keep posting it up if you find it cause I live for these things!!

Well it is not a correct type resto.........lotta goofy stuff like side cover logos & emblems, cut off passenger pegs, round air cleaner, and so on.....but ZERO MILES!
