exhaust options was created by jonarmstrong
I am currently running a hacked up Vance n Hines drag pipe that I made fit my bike. I bought a kerker header from a guy on here but I havnt put it on yet. I'm really not sure if I want to run the Vance n Hines megaphone style muffler on it. Has anyone experimented w putting a yoshi slip-on on a kerker header and if so which one is the best fit?

Is the Kerner header a side winder? Meaning it goes around the oil filter cap? What is the OD of the header at the slip on end.

I think there were two Kerkers and one of course clears the oil filter and the other doesn't. Mine does clear. I want to say there has been some discussion not to far back.

Agreed there are two I just don't know if there is a difference in OD where the slip on attaches. As for the Yoshimura slip on I don't think it would make a difference. Sound and back pressure. I think the question is why not the megaphone? Is it to loud? If so, does it have a baffle? What are you expecting out of the Yoshimura slip on?

Not really sure what to expect out of the yoshi, or any others really. My Vance n holes is old and I had to make a piece to connect it to the header I made so I'd have to do that again for the kerker. The kerker does miss the filter and angles out and up so the megaphone won't just hook to it. Like I've said before, I'm missing way too much to try and restore my bike. What kind of exhaust are people running on the modified bikes on here?

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationThis is what I bought have not got it on yet but they are bad. Was hoping to turn you on to one but they are all gone and he won't be making more for a while at least.
A lot of guys are running Kerkers but I did want to pay for one of those when I could this one for cheaper.
Do you want it loud or loud enough with performance?

I want performance more than anything else. The baffle worked itself loose on my Vance n Hines and fell out on the road the other day. It is LOUD now!! I have it to put back in but I almost would rather replace it. Kaw-a-holic, your pic didn't show up on my end, what do you have?
