1982 Kawasaki GPz750 engine swap? was created by farnie
Does anyone know if a 1982 Kawasaki GPz750 engine (kz750 R) will fit into a 1984 Kawi Gpz750 frame?

Thanks,

Sean

Check how wide the mount's on the case are.
Early motor's had wider mount's when I put the 83 GPz motor
in my 80 KZ650 I just had to make spacer's to fit all the bolt hole's are
in the same place.

I've seen a KZ750E motor in a 84 GPz750 frame.
Good part is you no longer will need the offset sprocket.
Go all out and put a GPZ1100 motor in it, there are/were a couple of those on here.
