Adhesive needed for plug? was created by phillyman2633
Hey guys, just replaced the clutch cable on my '82 KZ750. No idea what to call the plug below, but I had to take it out in order to get the stem back in. It seemed there might have been some adhesive used in the first place (or else it hadn't been removed in so long that the rubber in the plug started to mate with the metal), but does anyone know if I need to put any adhesive (if so, what kind) on here? Pics below.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Not familiar with that bike or piece, but looks like a simple push in should do it. If it doesn't fit tight anymore then sparingly apply a dab of silicone after cleaning any oils off of it.
