But if you decide to put one on anyway, be sure to install a thermostat with it. Otherwise there will be times when the cooler will prevent the oil from reaching the proper operating temperature. This is not a good thing. Among problems that can result is the failure of the oil to get hot enough to evaporate water condensation out of the oil. Ed

FYI They go to where the current piece is that has the oil pressure switch sensor mounted . This is below the cam chain tensioner behind the cylinder block.
A real good cooler is a Earls, 10 or 13 row cooler. Go on the Holley, Earls web site for hundreds of sizes available and they also list fitting sizes.

No bigger than a 3/8" is fine which would be the -6 . Yes pressure switch can go back on the adapter.
