Thanks but yall are not helping. I have have had two opinions and the head is not salvagable. That point is mute. If someone knows where I can find a head at a reasonable price. Or of something other than a gpz1100 head that will fit I would love that info.

Huh?
turboking gave a link to a remanufactured head on eBay. That head sold for $650; I don't know if you bid on it, but I thought that was a pretty good answer to your first question.
