si250 triple

just found a 250 triple in the middle of a rebuild for 250 pic so far look good i know nothing of the 2 stroke triples other then the 750 worth a lot any one think its a good bye told all the parts are there but have not seen it in person any one know more about this bike i could use the help

You can count on splitting the crankcases open and probably having the crankshaft rebuilt. Oil lines from the pump to the crankcase are fragile. If they are cracked or broken, you might want to remove the pump and go premix.

depends on what all is included and condition I just purchased a 750 H2.

It may surprise you what it is worth and then again, it may not. Around here, the triples don't last long and go for a price tag. The little ones are the ones that always seem to surprise me. I've been offered crazy money for my H2 and am probably crazy for not taking it but hey, they're not going down in price and I'd take more triples if I could find them. If it's pretty complete, snag it up for yourself, never know, you may find a hidden allure for it within your own heart.
