Possible oil leak past galley perimeter o-ring... was created by daveo
What likelihood of oil passing the o-ring between my head gaskets? I'm noticing a little oil resting on the lower four cylinder block cooling fins, and initially thought maybe the chain tension-er was seeping oil, but...? :S

If not already done ---
Would thoroughly clean the engine, allow it to completely dry, spray foot powder onto suspected leak areas (all over edges of the cam cover and head gaskets, around the tach drive and exhaust clamps, etc.).
Should then look like a clean white blanket of freshly fallen snow.
Start the engine, and watch for appearance of darkening area where the oil is coming through the powder.
The source of leak is usually very evident.
Good Fortune!

Daveo, do as Patton recommends and you should be able to determine where the leak is coming from.
Tacho drive is very common. I have seen the centre perimeter o-ring leak. The trouble was, that the two head gaskets I used were about 1/2 mm ( or more) thicker than the standard size. when I looked at them, I thought they looked great, however they did not crush enough, hence not putting enough compression on the O-ring
To aggravate the above situation further, the O-ring may have been an el-cheapo and was under size in thickness.
RegardZ.

Nope, that wasn't it...halleluiah! Nor was it a fuel drip off the head flange at the #2 intake manifold...
It was the O-Ring between the Ape tensioner and the cylinder block.
When i pulled that tensioner off, there it was...the hardest O-Ring on the face of the earth, which cracked when flexed just a little.
I didn't think that could possibly have been the issue, but I'm soooo glad that it was.
Now that is over, and I can pack the bike up for a couple months, and forget about it. That won't work.
