Rob is correct, I do have a Denco on my 650 - a left hand side one, but mine is not a tri cone, rather it has just a megaphone., It is more like the pipe in the second attachment.

Who were Denco? Where are they now? They certainly had some good stuff for Kawasakis back then.

dennis dean was "denco" .
alas, denco is no longer in business as far as I know. :(

columbus , ohio is shown as his address now.

denco marketed the first lock up clutch for Z1's (dencoglide) ,copied by mtc , tnt and mre......and made great exhaust systems for many motorcycles as well as many other engine parts...
he was big in the 2 stroke aftermarket business.....

The Dial-A-Jet was invented in the mid-seventies by Dennis Dean. Dennis holds well over 100 world motorcycle drag racing records. Also in the mid-seventies he formed Denco Engineering to market motorcycle speed equipment. During this time he developed the Dial-A-Jet concept. He was looking for a quick easy way to adjust his carburetion. He was encountering widely varying conditions in air density, altitude, and temperature as he traveled to different competitive events around the country. That final, critical fine tuning he was looking for was the difference in winning and losing.

Wow...Dennis was certainly ahead of the game B)

Back in the early 90s I decided a device was needed to lengthen a fuel injection pulse in response to a single input...I wasn't sure what at the time, but boost or throttle were the obvious answers....but couldn't find anyone in my part of the world who could build it for me. That device turned out to be the PowerCommander after Dynojet saw the writing on the wall with jet kits.
