So close to starting! was created by prizethedoubt
The bike is so close to starting! Sorry if this is technically not the right spot for this post. Check out the video...

The best result I had is when I blasted starter fluid, with the choke on half way, the bike started immediately, and was idling at 3k RPM on its own. Oil started coming out of the oil pressure gauge, so I turned the bike off and tightened the bolt a bit. Any advice? I don't want to screw up my new starter motor/battery from trying to start the bike too many times in a short period.

Thanks friends!

I'd be more concerned about the oil pressure.

Has it just had new rings or just been overhauled.
Remove plugs and give it just a little oil. It's need oil to seal the rings.
Should start!
