The only thing I can think of, that would make this part damaged or in need of a bit work would be stripped 6mm threads in aluminium to hold clutch springs or bad grooves in channels around the peripheral. Mostly should be repairable.

Ebay would be the best shot or wrecking yard.

Yeap I just bought(Ebay) a clean low mileage complete setup including the pushrod(clutches and all for $49), also starter gears, kickstarter shaft, and a rack of carbs(pumpers and ordered paper kits). They came off of an 80 model 1000 LTD except the carbs came off of a 79 1000. Just wanted to acquire some extra parts in case I needed them one day.

1980 KZ1000 LTD-B4(MK II engine) - Progressive suspension, MTC pistons, Dynojet Stage III, all wear items replaced, WFO paint scheme(1978), etc..

Past bikes- 2 1976 Kz900's, 5 1975-76 Honda CB750's, Honda 500 -4, Honda 250, Honda 125, Honda 100, Suzuki RM 250, Honda XL350, Kawasaki KLR 650, etc..

The inner hub is notched or deep grooved due to metal clutch plate wear. Causing the plates to hang-up.

Must be a high mile part or highly abused....not by me. :woohoo:

It is causing sporadic clutch engagements from a stop position.....wants to lurch at times.
