Pressure plates...

Was going to put a pressure plate with buttons in one of my bikes. Is there different pressure plates used in these motors? The one I have in one bike seems different beings the one in motor is only one I have found I can use because it seems to be a different thickness. They look the same though. I read somewhere recently, I think, where it was mentioned of two different ones. Anyone know anything about this?

That is like the ones I use...the arms of the lock-up press against the buttons instead of the aluminum pressure plate itself. The one in my 80 LTD seems to be a different thickness. I have a clutch pusher bearing and if I try to use a different pressure plate I end up with way too much slack. I mean a lot...to the point I loose almost all tension. Put old plate back in and it works like usual. Didn't know if there were different thicknesses in the plates or not. Seems I read somewhere there were two versions but can't remember for sure.
