Hi all,
I just picked up this '77 kz200. I haven't ridden in about 20 years, and am looking forward to getting it running. As far as I can tell the major issue right now (apart from needing new turn signals) is the electrical - there's no spark. I'm going to clean out the tank and carb, and then start going over the wiring.
Can anyone recommend somewhere in Toronto, Ontario that I should look for parts .. or should I stick to ebay?

Welcome to KZR and you are not the first to acquire a KZ200 and ask about parts for this model. As it turns out, Kawasaki sold a bazillion of these, but not in North America...most went to SE Asia. Because of that, availability of parts in North America is limited and an aftermarket parts industry did not emerge for the KZ200 and related models. That said, Z1E is still a good starting point but eBay will become your friend.

Hey sorry to revive a dead thread but I think I just bought the bike you had gunner. If youre still using the forums I'd like to ask you a few questions about what you had done with the bike. Its currently not running so I am trying to figure out what it needs to get it going. As far as I can tell the starter clutch still doesent work though I see one in the box of parts that came with the bike. The carb looks like its been rebuilt but the RPMs are still floaty and it tends to die at idle.
