So I am putting my case together this weekend. Opened my gasket kit and could not find the gasket for the split crankcase. (Some words were said)
then I look this morning and I can not find that gasket on any parts list? (More words)
does that sucker not use a gasket? or can someone shoot me a link to what I am looking for?
Anyone!?>>>>

You're probably supposed to use a liquid gasket. The bottom end section of the manual should have guidance on how to proceed.

As Martin says you're supposed to use a liquid gasket - this is what you need:

ThreeBond 1194

Also very useful for the cam end plugs, just a thin coat on the mating surface of the plugs.
77 KZ 650 B1, 82 GPz 1100 B2.

Yup, that's the right stuff to use.

Don't even think about anything with silicone in it!!!!!!
