Valve oil seals removal.

I have the valves out and cleaned , but I'm wondering about the oil seals. How do I know if they need to be replaced? Whats the best way to remove the valve stem oil seals? I tried a pliers but it felt like the seals were going to get trashed that way.
Thanks!

You won't be able to remove them without damage. These should be replaced, as they come in a top end gasket kit. Removing them with the proper stem seal pliers is easiest, but you can use needle nose pliers, or even a pick.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationThey are the first things that go bad. Replace them with VITON seals. I have seen them on ebay for $15.

I'll replace them then.
Do the new ones simply get pushed onto the valve guide??

The reason I ask is because the manual says to "replace the seal's clip".

If you put the old seals back in, you run the risk of having one of them fail sooner than needed. While you have the valves out, just replace the seals. Just use the pliers and yank them out. The old ones are held on by a spring circle and should be kind of hard to remove. The new ones will 'pop' into place and you'll have the confidence of having new oil seals.
