engine tear down help

ok so ive done ALOT of work since i last posted here. i have some questions since ive never done an engine before. i need to split the cases so i can clean them all up replace gaskets and paint. my question is this: do i split it right side up or upside down? and do i need to remove any more parts? i have the sprocket inner cover romoved exposing the linkage. the timing cover pulled back, and the clutch removed.



and i assume i need to remove the rest of the pistons

and if anyone has any how to or pics of engine dissassembly and reassembly tips id appriciate it

its actually not. the answers to the questions i asked above are not

Pull the head and barrels first ,then flip the cases upside down to remove the bottom.

Telling someone to get a manual because "it's all there" is not what this forum is about.
When I don't have an answer I just mind my own business and let someone who knows what they're doing help the the poster with the question.
Sometimes the less experienced of us need a little clarification from the more knowledgeable members, especially when we admit that is our case. Be .

There are NO GASKETS between the cases.

Unless you have a problem down there or just want to spend money and time just leave them alone.

If your point is to get to your pistons,
you don't have to mess with the bottom.
