kickstarting my kz750 noise

i recently got a kz750 twin every time i kick start the bike there's a rattling sound when bike is on neutral when i go to first gear the noise stops and doesn't come back till i put the bike in neutral is this an easy fix or will it be costly im getting a new kick start cover and gasket because its leaking oil from there hopeing its an easy fix

When it rattles is your foot on the kickstart lever still? That sounds like the noise you are describing
