UPDATE!........motor of the 82 is out, put new clutch in the 84 gpz engine, along with a new oil filter. also cleaned and painted it. got it installed into the 82 frame, adapted the clutch cable needed into the 82, spent some time using an old wiring harness to make plug in connectors to mount and wire the i.c. ignitor and diode (a must) into the existing 82 wiring harness so it looks factory. i have spark, so now carbs out for a rebuild and rejetiing (stage 3 dyno jet). bought a carb syncing tool, new plugs, air pods and throttle cable needed. running soon (hopefully).
