Broken chain tensioner lock bolt was created by freakinbike
Doing a valve job for the first time so I wasn't sure how tight the lock bolt had to be. And I broke it. Will the bike be rideable with that in there? Or will I have to extract it? Any ideas on how to extract it?

I recommend pulling the tensioner to extract it. It won't be that difficult. And I recommend rebuilding the tensioner while it is off.
And personally, I would not ride it until it is fixed properly.

I tried finding the part number for the bolt, it seems like its pitch is different than any I could find. Does anyone happen to know what the item number is?

Lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part names, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc. Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.
