REAR ROTOR

I have a 1980 KZ 1000 LTD that needs a new rear brake rotor. I need to know what other years and models fit. If you know I would appreciate any help.... Thanks !

I machined my front rotors due to them being VERY uneven. Kawasaki was nice enough to stamp minumum thickness on them. If this is your case, find a competent machinist.

According to Kawasaki.com here are the models that use that same rotor. Ed

The one i have is grooved so badly, but I will try to see if I can find the min. thickness #'s.

be carful buying a new rotor....the b models took the smaller 10-7/8 rear rotor with the 8 rivits on the inner hub not the 9 rivit.

Thanks everyone the info helped. my disc was shot... Ordered an EBC Disc. First one from E- Bay # MD4077. Was told it would fit, but used info here and sent it back. Ordered from other company - not on e-bay ( after checking with EBC company ) # MD 4063 was different and EBC says it is correct one!
