30 mm. Shims? What bike uses those? was created by bluezbike

I have somehow ended up with 8 shims that measure 30 mm diameter...any idea what motor those fit. I know my KZ 1000 uses 29 mm diameter and the 750 twins use 32 mm.

i believe those are suzuki gs1100 shims i know they are suzuki just not sure on which model pm crh he will know for sure

The GS1000 2 valve motor use a 29.5mm shim.

Most of the early Suzuki 2 valve motors use that 29.5mm shim if it is a shim type motor.

Sure they are not 29.5mm?? Never saw any motorcycle I know of use a 30mm shim!!!

Double checked with a vernier caliper....29.5 mm it is, thank you Dr. G
