Sounds like dirty carbs. Does the bike have a fuel filter? Ed

Figured I would give a final update. The airpods were letting way to much air in. We temporarily wrapped tape around them to restrict the air flow and she runs about perfect. Thanks everyone for your assistance!

When You say tape up the pods, do you mean the actual pods themselves or are you talking about the rubber intake manifolds between the carbs and the cylinder head. Check the manifolds to make sure there are no cracks in them. Replace them if they are cracked. Otherwise too much air is getting through. On the other hand, if they are in good order, check to see if the carburetors have been rejetted to compensate for the pods (or if they still have the stock jets installed). If you find you have the stock jets you should do some research on what size jets you should try. Taping the pods is not a good solution. Good luck.
