What is a good compression for a KZ 1000?

I measured 110-120 psi across the board on all cylinders.

I know that the volume inside the hose of the vacuum gauge causes a bit of an error. I calculated the hose volume as 5cc, and applying some fuzzy math I calculate the resulting error of the compression measurement to be 15% because of the hose volume.

That would put my measurements in the 125-140 psi range, is that acceptable? Engine was cold, throttle closed. Thanks.

Standard is 128~156 psi; service limit 100 psi.

Some large four Kaw engines perform surprisingly well with less than 100 psi.

Good Fortune! :)
